How Does Reiki Work?

As a Reiki Master, based in Kettering, Northants, I channel high-vibrational healing energy through my hands and into your energy field.

In person Reiki sessions in Kettering - In an in-person session, this is done through light touch or by gently hovering my hands above your body.

Online Reiki / Distance Reiki - During a distance session, I send the healing energy to you through intention and focus, allowing it to reach you wherever you are.

What to Expect in a Reiki Session

Every session is gentle, calming, and intuitively  tailored to what you need at the present time. All you need to do is relax and allow the energy healing to take place. You may feel very relaxed, you may feel hot or cold as the energy moves through your body, you may see different colours, experience intuitive downloads and most commonly you may fall asleep as your energy body and nervous system are cleansed and relaxed. 

Consultation:

We’ll have a warm chat about what you’re experiencing, your intentions, and anything you’d like support with.

Relaxation:

You’ll lie down fully clothed, get comfortable, and simply allow yourself to receive.

Energy Healing:

I’ll place my hands lightly on or above your body as the healing energy flows.

Integration:

Afterward, we’ll talk about your experience, any sensations you felt, and anything that came through during the session.

During your distance healing, you simply make yourself comfortable, relax and allow yourself to receive. I carry out your Reiki healing remotely, intuitively following your energy and allowing the healing to flow wherever it is needed most. Once the session is complete, I’ll connect with you to share what I felt, what came through during your healing and any intuitive guidance or messages that may be relevant for you.

This gentle Reiki session is designed to cleanse and refresh your energy, helping you slow down, reconnect with yourself and leave feeling lighter and more balanced.

Your session includes 25 minutes of intuitive Reiki healing, followed by a 5-minute intuitive energy check-in, where I’ll share any gentle insights or areas of your energy that may need a little extra attention.

Perfect as a regular energetic top-up, between deeper healing sessions, or whenever you feel like you simply need to press pause and reset.

60 minutes | £45

Sometimes you don't need to understand everything you're feeling — you simply need space to breathe, release and reset.

The Deep Energy Reset is a longer, more immersive Reiki healing experience designed to gently clear energetic heaviness, restore balance and reconnect you with yourself.

Your session includes 50 minutes of intuitive Reiki healing, followed by a 10-minute intuitive energy reading, where I’ll share what I have sensed during your treatment and offer gentle guidance around what your energy may be asking for.

A beautiful choice if you’ve been feeling emotionally drained, overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck or simply not quite yourself.

Leave feeling calmer, lighter, clearer and energetically restored.

90 minutes | £70

A deeply restorative healing experience for when you’re ready to go beyond relaxation and give your whole energy system some loving attention.

Your journey begins with a 10 minute guided meditation, helping you settle your mind, ground your energy and set an intention for your healing.

You’ll then receive 70 minutes of intuitive Reiki and chakra-focused energy healing, allowing space for energetic clearing, balancing and deep relaxation.

Following your healing, we’ll take 10 minutes to gently reflect on your session, where I’ll share any intuitive insights, guidance or areas of your energy that came through during the treatment.

Your session also includes an intuitive angel card pull, offering an additional message or piece of guidance to take away with you.

This is my deepest Reiki experience at Ahshara Healing and is beautifully suited to anyone feeling energetically depleted, emotionally heavy, stuck, disconnected or ready for a deeper reset.
